Opening for System Analyst-Windows in Dubai (3 months contract)

Following are the details of the requirement: - Payroll:Crystal Solutions Location: Dubai Total Experience:4 + years Designation: System Analyst -Windows System Admin - IT Infrastructure Technical Support Education:B.Tech /BCA,BSC(Computer Science/IT)/MCA/M.Tech/MSC Contract Duration :3 months Duties and Responsibilities: * Install and Configure Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2000/2003/2008). * Troubleshoot problems on Windows Server Operating Systems. * Monitor server performance and availability. * Ensure Windows server availability compliance to Service Level Agreements. * Promote and maintain server patch management practices. * Support and maintain Active Directory. * Upgrade and replace server hardware where appropriate. * Support and Maintain IBM blade Chassis. * Support and Maintain HP DL series Servers. * Ensure documentation for system/network infrastructure/changes/improvements are produced during implementation and updated during change programs. Qualifications & Job requirements * Bachelor"s Degree * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server and related technologies including Active Directory. * Understanding of Change Management frameworks such as ITIL. * Familiarity with network infrastructure. * Liaise with vendors and professional services. * Familiarity with Backup software and strategies. * Knowledge and understanding of network applications, web servers, email servers, file and print servers, firewalls and databases. * Experience with the management of a complex Windows & UNIX environment with significant Windows workstation and server OS experience, including methodologies and standards. * Solid working knowledge in Windows Operating Systems and system administration. * Strong working knowledge of server installation and security. * Ability to tactfully handle difficult situations and ability to maintain composure under pressure. * Recognize and perform duties that need to be performed although directly not assigned assisting others as needed. * Ability to keep up with the pace of change in technology. * Experience in VMWare and HyperV virtualisation technologies. * Experience in Citrix Zenapp environment. * Good understanding of IBM blade center technologies. * Professional Certifications like MCSE are desirable.
