We are presently looking for Asst Manager Network Operations with Aditya Birla Group at Mumbai
Experience: 6-9 yrs
Manage and Operate the following within desired SLAs:
- LCMNA (WAN Links)
- Co-Location
1. Plan, co-ordinate and implement procurement of network links and devices as per growing business needs and anticipate technical & operational issues.
2. Follow processes & track through tools the following:
- Procurement of links & network equipment
- Maintenance of links & network equipment
- Up-gradation, Shifting and Surrender of links & network equipments
3. Monitor the processes on regular basis effectively to monitor deviations from defined SLAs and report the same
Implementation and Support of Services
1. Manage incidents, problems and changes for the core infrastructure and services.
2. Implement Change and Configuration management for the services
3. Perform detailed problem analysis and scenarios; make or implement recommendations to mitigate change risk and business impact.
4. Assist in the development of capacity & availability plans for future expansions of infrastructure and managed services
5. Establish robust monitoring mechanism for proactive alerts and exceptions
6. Analyze performance metrics and create MIS reports on service performance
7. Document the infrastructure architecture, design, and layout, including protocols and standards used
8. Define and maintain comprehensive asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation.
9. Maintain & record service usage data for chargeback
Network Performance Analysis
1. Conduct periodic performance audits, including configuration checks, bandwidth utilization, traffic pattern analysis to understand network performance.
2. Conduct technical assessments on network upgrades and components to determine feasibility, cost, time and compatibility with current network
3. Analyze performance metrics and create MIS reports on service performance
4. Document the infrastructure architecture, design, and layout, including protocols and standards used
5. Perform detailed problem analysis and scenarios; make or implement recommendations to mitigate change risk and business impact.
6. Establish robust monitoring mechanism ensure efficient utilization and to identify potential problems and solutions
Security Management
1. Conduct periodic audits to identify technical vulnerabilities in infrastructure & applications and remediate
2. Implement standard processes through ISO 27001 framework and ensure adherence to Information security policy.
3. Co-ordinate and work with businesses for DR Drills on regular basis
Manage the following within desired SLAs for Managed Wide Area Network Services (MWANS)
1. Supervise management of incidents, problems and changes for the core infrastructure and services.
2. Implement Change and Configuration management for the services
3. Assist in the development of capacity & availability plans for future expansions of infrastructure and managed services
4. Define and maintain comprehensive asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation.
Supplier Management
1. Monitor supplier SLAs for compliance and enforce penalties, as applicable
2. Perform periodical service reviews with suppliers
3. Implement approved service improvement plans
Account Management
1. Consult with users and evaluate requirements, recommend designs, provide cost analyses, plan projects, and coordinate tasks for installation of networks.
2. Manage escalations on service performance issues
3. Identify usage thresholds and recommend appropriate solutions
4. Assist Project Manager in defining service and solution requirements of businesses
Project Execution
1. Assist execution of ongoing projects in the Networks management domain
2. Provide expertise on execution of Networks management solutions
3. Provide assigned project deliverables in a timely manner
