Urgent Opening with HCL for the Senior Position for Application Packaging for Gurgaon Location. JD: Application Packaging - o Perform re-packaging of Windows 7 compatible applications as per CLIENT's MSI packaging standards o Perform re-packaging of Windows server 2003/2008/2008 R2 terminal services compatible applications into standard MSI formats o Perform unit testing of virtualised or conflict-free packages o Provide user acceptance testing co-ordination support. For avoidance of doubt, it should be noted that the support during the UAT would be limited to correction of defects for the applications packages created / passed through ACF by Service Provider.  Application Compatibility Testing Services(ACT) o Obtain application packages or source files provided by CLIENT o Analyse application installation scripts (Eg: Install.vbs) provided by CLIENT o Determine the compatibility status of third-party software o Coordinate with application SME for use case development o Perform Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit compatibility testing  Application Compatibility Remediation Services(ARS) o Develop shims and workarounds using Microsoft shim technology to mitigate compatibility issues o Re-package remediated applications by incorporating compatibility fixes  UAT of packaged applications as per CLIENT's requirements  Application Rationalization of the application pool set provided by CLIENT  Application Virtualization - App V packaging of the applications submitted by CLIENT Total Experience: -5+ yrs Relevant Experience: - 4 yrs Work Location :- Gurgaon If interested can directly contact on +917498408007 Pathfinder Management Consulting (India) Ltd kirti.manzulla@pathfinder.net.in
