About the Job
Managing RedHat Enterprise Linux server installations
Managing Windows Server installations
Monitoring hardware and software availability and usage
Managing relationships with hardware, software and service vendors
Maintaining DNS, HTTP and SAMBA servers
Working with end user support staff to ensure processes and systems are in place to
effectively serve end users
Candidates will contribute to existing and new Vendormate products and services, and
will have an opportunity to work in an agile fast paced environment.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Deploying applications in a Linux environment
XEN virtualization
LVM disk management
SAN storage configuration
Good knowledge of UNIX shell scripting
DNS/BIND administration
Apache HTTP server administration
SAMBA administration
OpenLDAP administration
Microsoft Active Directory administration
3+ years experience working in a UNIX environment
Candidate should be prepared to learn new skills and technology. Ability to work in a
team is of paramount importance.
Good to have skills (Any of them)
PostgreSQL database administration
Cisco IOS
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or related area
1-5 years relevant experience
