JOB DESCRIPTION: Low level design & documentation : â— Review Architecture for the infrastructure under the scope â— All infrastructure modifications resulting from changes and/or projects must be reviewed to ensure they comply with the Architecture Standards. â— Maintain configuration specifications documentation, including network and systems designs/diagrams, of the existing deployment Utility infrastructure environment. â— Contribution and provide input on Architecture Standards and recommendations on improvements to those standards, taking into account the changing business needs of the client and the emergence of new technologies. â— Develop disaster recovery plans and guidelines to protect the Utility infrastructure environment Problem management: â— Assist Level 2 Operations Team with any problem investigations, analysis, and resolution tasks for recurring incidents â— Perform root cause analysis and identify known errors. In conjunction with other technical teams (internal/external) and product vendors, identify and track when a permanent fix becomes available and ensure that these fixes are passed to the Change Management Process via change requests â— Continuous Service Improvement: â— Provide technical advices on the Clients" production managed services environment with specific focus on Unix server infrastructure â— Capacity Management - interpret capacity trends and analyse capacity results , performance and availability within the Utility infrastructure environment to identify unexpected peaks and/or changes in trends, and to forecast new infrastructure capacity requirements and/or design modifications before service levels can be adversely impacted â— Provide recommendations on adjustments to configurations to ensure capacity, performance and availability service levels will be maintained and/or enhanced into the future. â— Ensure all service levels, key performance indicators, operational levels and understand contract levels are monitored, measurable, reported, reviewed and analyzed. â— â— Skills and Capabilities: The candidate for DC Specialist should possess: â— 5-8+ years" experience in implementation of Enterprise Servers, preferably with multiple versions of Unix Server OS, e.g. Sun Solaris, IBM AIX, RedHat Linux, HP UX. â— Excellent Documentation skills and acumen to develop Low level design documents â— Good Understanding of Tivoli stack products like TIM, TAM, NMS, EMS, and Maximo. â— Good understanding of overall Datacentre Infrastructure â— Good communication skills â— Preferred Training & certification: â— Sun Certified Network Administrator (SCNA) or Sun Certified Security Administrator (SCSA) â— IBM Certified System Expert â— RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE) â— ITIL foundation Please Email us your updated resume highlighting your relevant experience and achievements.
