We have an Excellent Opportunity for you in : # Bangalore Mobily Etihid Etilasat www.mobily.com.sa (IT is a sister concern of Ethisalat) The req. is Senior HP (UX) Administartor Openings: 2 Relevant experience: 6 to 10 years on HP-Unix Administration Below is the job description : • Working as Unix Administrator(HPUX) • Administering High-end servers: Superdome and Mid-range servers: RP and RX series • 24X7 support • System hardening, Access control, security patching and Risk Analysis • Service Guard setup and administration • Analysis of Unix logs and investigating any suspicious user activities • Security Penetration tests, scope, deviation checking, etc. • Log checking/Analysis, Automatic Log rotation, etc. • OS setup/patching, upgrade etc. • Oracle RAC servers with MC/SG administrations • Exporting/importing VGs, planning and creating/extending new VGs/LVs, etc. • Installing Online Diagnostics, patches, arranging downtime & change management activities • Coordinator for Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity & Business Contingency projects • Involvement of System security and policies • Proactive system administration and planning • Coordination with different vendors and support organizations • Automatic System Report generation, Alarms by email, etc, downtime graphs, etc. • Active involvement for Backup, Security solutions, Threat/Risk analysis, EMC/CA BrightStore and tape management systems • Project documentation • Configuring SAN/NAS Devices • Building HP-UX kernel, configure additional peripherals viewing and configuring device files, setup backup procedures such as fbackup, tar, cpio etc, perform ongoing Sys.
