We have an urgent requirement for Linux / Unix Administration with one of our client in Bangalore Designation: Linux / Unix Admin Positions details below ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES YEARS OF EXP: 6+ YEARS (Excellent Communication Skills are Mandatory as this may involve travel to China / Japan) 1) Linux installation and configuration from the base 2) Logical Volume management 3) LVM Software raid implementation 4) Storage management on Linux. 5) Kernel tuning 6) Multipath drivers implementation 7) User Maintenance Solaris Knowledge is a plus but not mandatory. Hardware 1) Sun x86 hardware Models Sun Fire x4600, Sun Fire x4275 , Sun Fire x4170 2) Storage ( is a plus not mandatory) Sun StorageTek 6140, Sun StorageTek 6180 3) Remote administration of above hardware.
