Automotive plastics interiors expertise with Premium OEMs.
Not just CAD exposure, but design knowledge is expected
Ability to create concepts, ,detailed design, conduct / involve in design reviews
Product design and development is expected
Knowledge of whole product development cycle, ability to interact with crops-functional teams
Proto development
Different phases of release, tooling
Ability to read test results, simulation results
Knowledge on gaps and flush, in mold design (IMD), wooden finish part design & wrapping
Creation of drawings, handle change request, release methods, PDM and it’s application (hands on experience in PDM * PLM tools)
Nice to have, if candidate has experience working on Haptic switches, it’s design
Manufacturing knowledge for technologies such as soft IP, leather parts, injection moulding
IP, Glove Box & couple of Grille parts development & Soft Instrument Panel design
CATIA / UG – domain knowledge is important
