• At least 10+ years working experience in IT support industry
• At least 6 years’ experience with storage and backup administration
• Excellent knowledge with Netapp data ONTAP, Hitachi AMS & USP Storages, IBM DS8000, DS4000, V7000, EMS DMX, VMAX, VNx and fiber channel technology is a must.
• Excellent knowledge with EMC Networker and good knowledge
• Good knowledge with Brocade SAN switch and EMC Symmetrix.
• Must have good knowledge of backup hardware, Redhat Linux and Windows OS platform.
• Basic knowledge about shell script in UNIX platform.
Roles and Responsibility:
• Ensure the production stability for storage & backup technical environments and services in South East Asia.
• Uphold the excellence for day-to-day storage & backup operation
• Maintain storage and backup equipment’s firmware in a supported version level.
• Maximize the system up time and maintain sufficient free space to adapt the ongoing business growth.
• Follow the bank standard, policies and change control procedure.
• Monitor the Storage & Backup infrastructure and proactively follow up production issue.
• Provide regular update to management team for system performance and capacity status and highlight the potential risk if any.
• Participate in weekly team meeting and consistently communicate with teammates in remote countries.
• Provide assistance and work closely with other support teams in Asia.
• Document all the policies, procedures and review the documents in timely basis.
• Continuously improve technical skill set and share the knowledge with colleagues.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose to the business to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Provide suggestion to improve day-to-day storage and backup operation model.
