Job Description: • Administration and troubleshooting of mixed environment (physical and virtual servers). • Responsible for both Windows &. VMWare However, Windows server is prime responsibility but taking care of VMware also as a secondary responsibility. • Troubleshooting and managing Windows Server, Server 2003, 2008 and 2012. • Planning, Installation, Configuration, Management and Troubleshooting of virtual Servers/clusters. • Failover and Load balancing cluster, patch/fix, firmware upgrades, HA, DRS, Resource pool management, storage LUN's/multi-path, Host and cluster compliance etc. • Install, Setup, configure and support Wintel based environment for global client. • Checking host and virtual machine performance issues if required. On-demand customization of reports of infrastructure periodically. • Troubleshooting VERITAS and Windows cluster issues. • Working on VERITAS storage management, creating, expanding volume using veritas storage foundation. • Updating Server Checklist, managing documentations, monthly ticket analysis/reports etc. • Good experience on basics of DNS and DHCP
