WINDOWS ADMIN_
The qualified applicant will have a strong technical background and experience. The candidate must have the following key technical skills:
 Extensive experience administrating Windows 2003/2008 and Windows 2003/2008: Server build, maintenance, security, keeping up to date with latest internal OS updates (IPAK’s) and security patches, configuring server for best performance etc.
 Infrastructure / Network Administration
 Extensive experience administrating and building web sites in IIS: Experience building web sites based on project build hand offs, troubleshooting site issues, and security administration are all a must. Coding skills are not essential.
 Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008 administration: Candidate must have proven experience setting up, administering, backing up and restoring SQL server databases, troubleshooting SQL issues, configuring SQL server for optimal performance etc. T-SQL coding not essential but a plus.
 Experience troubleshooting network and connectivity issues.
 Experience implementing 3 tier worldwide distributed applications delivered via a project using all of the above technologies, ensuring all of the individual components are working and the system as a whole functions correctly.
Knowledge Areas
Excellent troubleshooting skills, especially when dealing with ambiguous issues
Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 operating system, IIS, NLB, Clustering, AD, WINS/DHCP/DNS and SQL 2000/2005

Qualifications:
5+ -year college degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with relational database management systems, web-server and client-server technologies
Demonstrated ability in defining and implementing process improvements with a focus on leading edge technology
Demonstrated ability in handling complex technical issues and providing timely solutions
Demonstrated ability to define and follow best practices
Strong customer service skills
Excellent team-player, willing to share knowledge, experience and to go extra mile for the overall support team benefit

Roles/Responsibilities
We are looking for a leader, someone who is proven in leading Support teams at the front line. This role needs someone who can deliver on an extremely high NSAT, customer SLA and systems availability. In addition we need this leader to be thinking strategic and looking for ways to streamline and aggressively manage costs. This role entails supporting people in different time zones and so the ability to support remote personnel in a matrix model is essential. New applications and deployments are constantly occurring and this role will require you to juggle these multiples at the same time while optimizing the large resource pool available. You will need to ensure best practices and processes are adhered to, and combine that with agility in your approach. You will have proven leadership ability and a working knowledge of ITIL/MOF... You will also have great communication skills and be able to articulate at all levels including executive.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- BSc in Computer Science or similar Engineering degree
- 7+ years in Support
- 3+ years in leading Support on/offshore organizations
- Experience managing direct teams and 3rd party teams
- Exposure to delivering enterprise scale projects with SDLC preferably using Agile methodology
- Knowledge of MOF/ITIL framework.
- Broad expertise in Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, IIS and preferably Biztalk.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience delivering quality in Line of Business applications
- Passion for product quality, customer satisfaction and a proven track record for delivering quality
- Great collaborative and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability for implementing new initiatives and ideas at scale
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem solving skills
- Sound negotiation and decision making skills
- Excellent history in managing systems and processes
- Experience in leading Support to be proactive with goals for ‘Lights out Support’ model
