Hi, We have an urgent opening for a Windows Systems Administrator as an Active Directory Specialist with our client, Ogilvy & Mather, Mumbai which is one of the largest marketing communications networks in the world. With 450+ offices in 120 countries, it services Fortune Global 500 companies including American Express, BAT, BP, Cisco, Coke, DuPont, Ford, Gillette, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Kodak, Kraft, Lenovo, Mattel, Motorola, Nestlé, SAP, Unilever, and Yahoo! Working hours : Afternoon Shifts : 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. IST (and at times Night Shifts, only if need arises) Required Skills: • Minimum 3 years experience Windows Server 2003 technologies including AD, DNS, DHCP. • Experience of AD migrations from multiple network environments. • Ability to confidently discuss AD design issues with both a technical and non-technical audience. • Thorough understanding of Site Replication, Replication monitoring tools, Site Links/Subnets/Site Link Bridging, KCC, Directory Service Event Logging • Strong understanding of DACLS, Delegation of Control, Group Policy, Security Configuration Wizard, RSOP • Strong understanding of Forest Partitions/Replicas, ADSIedit usage, FSMO Roles, Active Directory Restore Methods • Strong understanding of Microsoft DNS services, Info lox/BIND a plus • Strong understanding of AD migration planning and tools such as ADMT 3.0. Job Description: • As part of an ongoing network consolidation program, an Active Directory specialist is required for a global AD rollout and will be working alongwith the team in New York supporting the worldwide implementation support. • You will have an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory 2003 and underlying Windows Server 2003 technologies, and will have experience of migrating to AD 2003 from multiple networking environments including Novell, Microsoft and open source using ADMT and other tools. • Starting with a defined regional framework you will have the ability to work with local IT and business leaders to define local directory and group policy requirements and to develop and execute an implementation plan accordingly. • You will also have the experience to effectively test and troubleshoot your plans, and to liaise with the regional IT team on a regular basis. Good project management and documentation skills are a must, as is a willingness to travel.
