Position Code 2018--Security Consultant (Symantec) Job Description -: The incumbent will be required to work closely with customers, partners and vendors throughout the full product lifecycle of projects by getting involved in the Pre-Sales and Post-Sales phases. Expected to posses the following skills, experience and related vendor specific / neutral certifications: • 3-5 years experience in designing / architecting and deploying: • Symantec EndPoint Protection (SEP) • Symantec BrightMail (Gateway, Mail Filter, Traffic Shaper) • Symantec Network Access Control • Symantec Web Gateway • Symantec Security Information Manager / Symantec Control Compliance Suite (not mandatory, will be an added advantage) • Knowledge of security concepts and architecture (CISSP certified will be an advantage) • Familiarity with the Pre-Sales processes and Post-Sales / consulting methodologies • Familiarity with the various architectural components (facilities, hardware and software) used in data centers • Provide technical expertise to other team members throughout the project lifecycle • Good document writing skills, ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in writing • Good presentation skills, self motivated, independently handle tasks end to end • Job responsibilities: Work with the sales team / BDM / Account Manager in doing the following: Pre-Sales Suggesting solutions based on customer requirements – responding to RFPs, RFQs Preparing Bill of Quantity (BoQ), Bill of Material (BoM) Providing Proof of Concepts, Demos / Presentations Post-Sales Qualifying and scoping opportunities Preparing related documents - Statement of Work, Solution Design, Project plan Liaising with customer / partner points of contact and executing the deployment Ability to manage the project and stakeholders' expectations end to end 2 .Position Code – 3456 Storage Consultant (SF-EV) The incumbent will be required to work closely with customers, partners and vendors throughout the full product lifecycle of projects by getting involved in the Pre-Sales and Post-Sales phases.
