Knowledge and Skills:
Good experience in handling enterprise WAN / LAN network configuration, wireless network, cabling infrastructure and troubleshooting. Working experience of Cisco Switches and Routers.
Worked on Layer 2, Layer 3 (Managed switches) with VLAN, Port Trucking.
Able to manage Firewall / UTM appliances (create policies, IPS, CFS etc)
Understanding of DHCP, DNS servers, VoIP technology is added advantage.
Coordinating with service provider for the network link availability
Exposure to Traffic Shapers, Caching Engines, Syslog review management is added advantage.
Familiar with authentication mechanisms such as RADIUS is added advantage.
Internet VPN connectivity configuration & trouble shooting experience in Cisco PIX/ASA, Checkpoint Firewall, Routers and VPN concentrators.
Implement network/security process and policies.
Experience in VOIP , QOS and Bandwidth monitoring, management tools and Web filtering tools.
Configuration and troubleshooting experience in EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols in enterprise networks.
Work with systems team to setup shared network resources like Network Printers, MFD̢۪s etc.
Experience with Network Management tools like Nagios, MRTG, and Net flow Analyzers etc.
Experience managing Linux, Linux base OPEN Source VM environments, including LDAP.
Experience managing Email Service preferably SENDS MAIL with post scripts.
Understanding of ALL standard server applications, including BES, A/V, and monitoring
Juniper and Cisco ASA VLAN configuration
