¨ 5 + Years of relevant experience on deep storage technologies preffered.
¨ Required Deep Technical skills in Storage & SAN Domains, Excellent communication skills, and Non Technical Soft skills
¨ In depth knowledge (L1 and L3) of storage subsystems like HP XP and EVA.
¨ Understand the architecture of the HP Storage Works XP Disk Arrays
¨ Use Remote Web Console
¨ Use XP Command View Advanced Edition
¨ Set the Fibre Port Topology for the XP ports
¨ Configure LUNs
¨ Use the Volume Manager to create LUSE and Custom Size Volumes
¨ Understand how to implement LUN Security
¨ Use MPIO or Secure Path/Auto path to handle multiple paths to a LUN
¨ Understand XP replication products: Business Copy XP, Snapshot XP, and Continuous Access XP
¨ Use Performance Advisor software
¨ Describe the purpose of additional XP software products including External Storage and Thin Provisioning
¨ Full copy vs Snapshot Comparison
¨ XP Business Copy Operations and States
¨ Depth Knowledge of RAID Manager in CLI mode
¨ Installation and Configuration of Raid Manager
¨ Command Device
¨ Instance Configuration File
¨ RAID Manager Commands for Business Copy
¨ Good Knowledge of backup technology
¨ In-depth knowledge of Storage Technology overall,
¨ A Grade Communication Skills for customer facing role

¨ HP XP Certification
¨ HP EVA Certification
¨ VERITAS Volume Manager Certification
¨ EMC Networker Legato Certification
¨ Brocade fabric certification
