For Contract Position for 6Months- 1 Year
Job Decription:
Two Positions for L1 & L2
1 UNIX/LINUX L1 Engineers 1. Call logging & escalating to next level (L2 & L3) or to concerned team.
2. Log monitoring & analyzing.
3. Monitoring system alerts
4. User administration & file permission administration.
5. Basic hardware knowledge of servers (IBM,Sun,Dell,HP)
6. Basic knowledge of Operating system (AIX, Solaris, Linux) 3yrs
2 UNIX/LINUX L2 Engineers 1. Minimum 4 years hands-on experience on SUN Solaris Platforms (Solaris 9, Solaris 10, AIX, Linux)
a) Patch and Package administration
b) Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task
c) Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance
2. Need to have worked on various SUN server hardware
a) Entry level servers V240, V440, V880, V890 servers
b) Midrange servers SF6800/6900, E2900, M-series 4000/5000 servers
c) High-end servers M-8K/9K , E10K,E12K,E20K,E25K servers would be added advantage
3. Worked on Volume Manager (SVM), Veritas Volume Manager.
4. Worked on Clusters would be added advantage
5. Need to have worked on various Storage hardware
a) Entry Level SE3310/SE3510
b) Midrange Level SE6140/SE6540/SE6580
c) High-end Level SE6920, SE9990 would be added advantage
6. Worked on any other storage like EMC apart from SUN would be an added advantage.
7. Understanding of SAN and NAS storage. 6yrs
