Job Description:
In this role, you will get to:
- Be the Expert: Troubleshoot hardware & accurately determine fixes; research issues and resolves technical problems; Complete technical and special projects as assigned.
- Be the Point of Contact: Resolve basic level 2 and some level 3 issues in a Mac OS and Windows environments.
- Enable and Guide: Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests; implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures.
- Enable the workforce: Coordinate and/or perform remote fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications; remotely troubleshoot issues relating to hardware and software (typically Mac OS, Apple, Google for Work, Cisco Meraki, Dropbox etc).
- Keep management updated: Relay important information in the form of timely and accurate reports; issue the daily operations status report and project status reports as required.
Desired Profile:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner.
- Experience in Apple hardware, Mac OS, Google (G-Suite), and Windows.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- College degree from accredited four-year institution or relevant technical experience.
- Previous customer support, sales or technology experience a plus.
- Ability to be persistent in working through challenges and doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Ability to be creative and resourceful in finding effective solutions to problems and situations.
- Strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements.
- Pro-active ability in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; work as a team-player.
