This requirement (Senior SQL DBA) is for a CMM 5 Organization, Mastek, base location would be Mumbai.

The SQL Database Administrator̢۪s role is to design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance tune production Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 databases while ensuring high levels of data
availability.
̢ۢ He will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of OLTP & OLAP databases and their accompanying software.
̢ۢ Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
̢ۢ Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring and supporting database servers, including OLTP & OLAP databases, log shipping, replication to name a few.
̢ۢ Hands-on database tuning and troubleshooting experience.
̢ۢ Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques.
̢ۢ Ready to work in 24/7 environment.
