Designation- Data Executive
Company Name: Reliance MediaWorks Ltd (Digital Media Imaging Ltd)- Reliance ADAG
Job Objective - Manages the data for Restoration on one shift on all storage systems and networks. Ingests, transfers and backups data as needed.
Responsibilities-
 Enforces naming conventions and good data management practices on the SAN.
 Backs up to LTO tape, drives or delivers on fiber as needed.
 Ingests files on to the SAN from whatever client media.
 Conducts internal data integrity checks on SAN data including finding corrupt files, folders with less smaller numbers of files etc.
 Monitors transfer efficiency on all net works and media net and escalates any problems to Data Manager and appropriate Line Producer.
Job Specifications-
 Graduate : (With a minimum of 3 years in a similar role)
Technical Qualification
̢ۢ Linux admin. Knowledge of Net-Backup experience with operating tape libraries
 Scheduling engineering tasks, in medium sized data installations and creating data reports
 Familiarity with data collection software and/or scheduling software.
 Experience of high security data facilities.
