Job Profile
Responsible for the operation and administration of the company̢۪s internal networks, servers, email and network security systems.
Configuration, Setup and maintenance of server systems.
Firewall/IT Security administration.
Administration of email servers.
Configure and Setup firewall, routers, switches (CISCO)
Bandwidth monitoring and allocating
Knowledge of Applications. Should understand the behavior of software in order to deploy and to troubleshoot problems.
Knowledge of Database system and responsible for the integrity of the data and the efficiency and performance of the system.
Provide telephone and desktop support to internal users.
Forecasting any needed improvements.
Requirement
Good working knowledge of the following operating systems:-
Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, ISA, Exchange, Linux (RedHat), postfix mail, squid.
Strong working knowledge of major networking components and basic computer hardware components
Through working knowledge in configuring and setup of (CISCO) routers, switches and firewall (Juniper).
Hands on knowledge of the procedures used in the installation, modification maintenance and repair of IT hardware and software (relating to servers).
Knowledge in any programming language (preference will be given to PowerBuilder)
Knowledgein any RDBMS and SQL commands (Oracle)
Education
Bachelors of Computer Science or more
Must be a CCNA
Experience 5 or more years as a System Administrator or Network and Database Administrator or similar post.
Age: 30 - 35
