SKILLS- "Primary Skills: • Good understanding of Windows Server & Solaris(L2) • Should have worked in an SAN environment. • Should have worked on Hitachi, 3Par, Netapps, • Should have worked on Veritas Netbackup. • Experience in Storage & Netbackup troubleshooting. • Exposure to HP Blade Servers, Emulex HBA cards & Brocade switches. • Knowledege of Incident & Problem Management. • Should have worked on Monitoring Tools such HPOV / IBM Tivoli / BMC Patrol / Nagios • Should have worked on Ticketing Tool such as BMC Remedy / HPSM / CA Unicenter / Adventnet Manage Engine • Good communication skills (verbal & e-mail) • Ready to work in shifts (24 X 7) • ITIL certification will be an advantage." Primary Role Deliverables Storage: Provide SAN Fabric Support which includes Maintenance, Break/Fix, Brocade Support. Work with different teams in identifying issues & coordinate HBA replacement, updating SAN zoning & LUN masking as appropriate. Investigate & analyze errors reported by monitoring tools & open necessary vendor tickets. Will work with 3Par,HDS,IBM & NetApp to resolve any issues related to Disk,volumes,VLUNS,CPG's,Ports & any other 3 Par hardware problems. Act upon the alerts relationg to increase quota limits,volume capacity to increase volume size, SnapMirro, SnapVault to ensure the relationships are up to date & functioning correctly. Health Monitoring of Fabric,servers,FC connections & Disk ports. Generate daily & weekly reports. Work on recurring Incidents, prepare RCA & document them. Backup: New Hardware & software installation, configuration of new drives,disks & maintenance, Break/Fix, work with EMC Support to resolve tickets. Coordinate all planned outages. Should have worked in NOC / L1 Monitoring Support kind of environment.
