Job Description:
In this position, you will be responsible for testing converged network adapter drivers on Linux platforms. The job involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans to exercise the Ethernet networking and Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) aspects of multi function HBA̢۪s. The job also involves executing performance benchmarks and performance characterization. Requires experience in setting up of network adapters, working knowledge of the Linux operating system, and the capability to debug issues. The individual will be required to interact closely with driver and FW developers, and must possess effective technical communication skills.
Responsibilities:
̢ۢ Develop comprehensive test plans for new functionality and new features in Ethernet networking drivers.
̢ۢ Review and constantly add to existing test plans for network and FCoE driver testing.
̢ۢ Assist SW and FW development teams in defect analysis.
̢ۢ Develop versatile and portable scripts for automating test cases.
Required Skills:
̢ۢ Sound knowledge of Ethernet networking fundamentals.
̢ۢ Driver testing experience on Linux.
̢ۢ Working knowledge of VLAN and teaming concepts in networking.
̢ۢ Basic knowledge of Fibre Channel, SCSI is a plus.
̢ۢ Experience in working with HP and/or Cisco Ethernet switches
