Job Profile
̢ۢ Design, development, implementation & maintenance of computing infrastructures
̢ۢ Monitoring and managing local infrastructure desktops, servers, network devices and local office technology (fax, printers, copiers, phones)
̢ۢ Ensuring adherence to documented procedures, deploying network management software and hardware, monitoring and maintaining the local Network Operations Center environment as required
Skills Required
̢ۢ Linux - Software Packages Installation & Configuration
̢ۢ Basic - Intermediate Shell scripting
̢ۢ Installation & Configuration of Third party & Open Source software
̢ۢ Planning & Applying of OS upgrades, apply/test OS patches, and planning hardware upgrades
̢ۢ Knowledge and experience in network security and services such as HTTP, DNS, FTP, and NFS
̢ۢ Windows - Active Directory Configuration & Maintenance
̢ۢ Networking - Knowledge of principles of network protocols, routing & switching preferably on CISCO
̢ۢ OS - Linux Administration - Preferably Redhat Linux, Windows 2000, 2003 server, Windows 2000, XP Professional & flavours of Unix
