Job description:
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
â€Â¢ Designing and building software products for multiple best of class products.
â€Â¢ Architecting and troubleshooting technical issues for the team locally and offshore
â€Â¢ Coordinate between client product teams and AgreeYa product teams
â€Â¢ Surveying the technical landscape for complementary and competing solutions.
â€Â¢ Contributing to product requirements and planning.
Some more responsibilities will be added
For Microsoft Environment need C++, and C (for drivers)
For Unix Environment need Java, and (C for driver)
Requirements:
â€Â¢ BS/MS in CS or EE or equivalent.
â€Â¢ hands-on experience working directly with any or all of the domains like, storage (RAID, SAN, SCSI, SATA, iSCSI), File systems, Virtualization.
â€Â¢ Strong C/C++ programming skills.
â€Â¢ Proven ability to write high quality software products in C and C++ and corresponding test infrastructure (Python, Perl, shell scripting, etc).
â€Â¢ Solid working knowledge of Unix based operating systems (file systems, networking and kernel internals).
â€Â¢ Experience with in-memory and on-disk data structures and algorithms, especially de-de-duplication and compression algorithms would be a plus.
â€Â¢ Prior experience with developing file systems, databases and backup/archival systems is a strong plus.
