Work Experience: 6 8 yrs
Location: Mysore/Chennai
Experience Description:
1. Should be a Graduate / Dip / BE. Should be Microsoft Certified Engineer (Mandatory).
2. Should have good communication skills with the ability to deal with customer at all levels in an organization
3. Should have min 6-7years industry experience.
4. Should have working experience of 5-6years on Windows 2000/2003/2008 & Exchange. Working experience on AD is must.
5. Should have strong Analytical skills.
6. Knowledge on ITIL is must.
7. Must have 2-3 years team management experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Provide escalated & Tier 2-3 technical support and administration of the technology infrastructure.
2. The primary responsibilities will be Guide, Mentor L1, L2 and avoid escalations .
3. Help & guide team to provide Trend analysis, Capacity planning, Incident Reduction and drive problem management team.
4. Play a key role in system uptime and disaster recovery initiatives & automation
5 . Problem management ownership across the Windows server/Exchange and other core technologies.
6. Plan and implement C3 change.
7. Manage crisis/major incidents.
8. Disaster Recovery / High Availability
9. Physical and Logical Security
10. Backup / Integrity and recoverability
11. Active Directory fine tuning & sizing.
12. High end administration, Fine tuning of Microsoft Exchange server.
1 3. Backup integrity and routinely testing capabilities.
14. Exchange Database capacity.
15. Analyze reports & recommend changes to process/technology where ever reqd,
16. Knowledge sharing to Shift In charge/L2 /L1engrs.
17. Pro-actively provide suggestions for the optimization of the Infrastructure
18. Should have worked on High availability environments likes NLBS, Cluster.
19. Deployment & management of Terminal server, Citrix, Knowledge of Virtualization, Hyper V, VMware etc
