GENERAL SUMMARY
This is a Senior level Administrator position, the individual will be part of the EDS-ITO, supporting as delivery lead for the account and lead L1/L2 team of Wintel/Storage/DB team members along with UNIX team. To support DC and DRC operations @ 50 Servers in the account.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To deliver high-level Data Centre operational performance and customer satisfaction for customer Project. Effective management of DC resource and driving System delivery performances through stringent quality and process control. Responsible to handle DC operations team and manage customer expectation.
Job Deliverables
Lead all aspects of the operational delivery for Data Centre at the Bank. The major responsibilities:
 Manage the overall Data Centre operation for the delivery of the contracted to the Bank.
 Meeting and Exceed contracted Service Level Agreements. Ensure compliance to SLA for system domain
 Planning, implementation, and configuration of monitoring and maintenance server, storage and Data Centre infrastructure.
 Implementation and maintenance of System architecture components for managed services, implementation and maintenance of System monitoring toolsets.
 Establish and maintain a redundant System operations environment, including substantial software and hardware fail-over; monitor and test the performance of this configuration Maintain proper testing of the production system environment, including simulations, stress testing, and benchmarks for both preventive maintenance and reporting purposes.
 Implementation, maintenance and consistent improvement of system security measures.
 Over all responsible for Data Centre facilities operations.
 Facilitate efficient cooperation and teaming with the different domains, Vendors and different HP BU's based on agreed Operation Level Agreements (OLA).
 Initiate and get timely approval for changes in system domains
 Review performance trends on periodic basis.
 Act as problem and change management lead for system domain
 Forecast growth and align technology changes to meet committed service level
 Monitor adherence and compliance of process and procedures, regular review of existing process and procedures as per business requirement, suggest and implement changes to improve day to day system / DC operations.
 Develop operational database as per business need and Monitor the adherence and compliance of operation data base up dation process. Ensure compliance of all MIS reports as defined. Review and analyze the reports and define and track the execution of plan of action for better results.
 Responsible for team management activates like shift scheduling, KRA definition, performance planning and review of team members.
 Development of Project Plan, Control, execute and close for all Systems related projects at customer.
 Manage Operational escalations through Vendor and first level team .
 Handle change and configuration management for customer DC infrastructure.
 Timely infrastructure and resource Capacity / Utilization planning.
 Generate and submit monthly MIS report along with trend analysis to HP and Customer.
 Perform monthly review with customer and take necessary action on monthly basis.

Required & Desired Skills:
* Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience and at least 4 to 5Yrs in supporting customer on system administration area.
* Sound Knowledge in HPUX 10.x, 11.x Operating system.
* Able to handle most of basic to advanced calls in User, group management, system start-up, service modification, crontab entires, ACL modifications, file system management, root & ignite backups.
* Experience in Server Management, Backup, with the help of the tool provided. Any proactive monitoring tools i.e. Open view, Tivoli, Big-brother etc will be added Advantage.
* Hands on experience on Enterprise backup management software - HP Data Protector.
* Working Knowledge of MC Service guard cluster /SUN /Veritas cluster. MC Service guard cluster would be added advantage.
* Should have working knowledge in performance tuning, clustering etc.
* Interpersonal sensitivity and customer responsiveness with good spoken and written communication skills, team working skills & require shift operations.
* Ability to communicate technical contents and vendor management
* Able to co-ordinate installation & Configuration of HPUX Operating system with Hardware vendors.
* Good process knowledge in call login, tracking, closure procedures using HP Service desk. Knowledge of ITSM processes
* Working knowledge on Mid range Storage systems like EVA. Should have basic understanding of any high end storage technologies Eg: Hitachi, EMS. HP XP support class is preferred.
* Adhere to SLA response and resolution times and ensure cases are regularly updated.
* Escalation of problems in a timely manner as per the escalation matrix.
* Preferred Certification in any of UNIX flavour. Certification can be compromised provided candidate is having good technical knowledge.
* Experience in managing the team size of 15 to 20.
* Should posses knowledge in Windows and Oracle Databases - Fundamental concepts to be clear and will be an added advantage.



Education Required: Bachelors degree in engineering or 12th + three year Diploma (University recognized) will be considered in exceptional cases.
Experience required: 6+ Yrs
Salary : 8 to 10 Lakhs.
Location : Hyderabad
