Position :L3 Linux System Administrator Job Description: We are looking for a self-motivated; action orientated Linux System Administrator who is effective in getting things done. Someone who takes ownership of issues and sees them through to completion. Responsibilities include: Maintaining few hundreds of Linux servers currently housed in our datacenters worldwide; Maintaining and continuing to develop our Linux build server environment; Maintaining and continuing to develop our Linux Clearcase environment; Supporting our remote Linux system administrators. This position is a hands-on architectural position. Not only will you be responsible for running and maintaining the core Linux architecture, but you will be tasked to design and continue to grow the architecture as business needs change. You will share all Linux design responsibilities with other Linux System Administrators. You will be mostly working in the night shift providing L2/L3 support worldwide and handling worldwide projects. You will have significant design responsibilities in this role. Job Requirements: 7+ years experience in the industry in like sized environments 5+ years experience with various flavors of Linux like Debian, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu 3+ years experience with Webservers, NFS/Autofs, Mysql database, LDAP, NIS, and other Unix tools and technology. 3+ years experience with VMWare in the enterprise RHCE or like certification is a plus 3+ years experience working US or Europe.
