MAIN MISSION

Migrate the current AXA Email & Blackberry Infrastructure to the target Infrastructure.

Manage  AXA Email & Blackberry Infrastructure.

 

DIMENSION

Estimated Global mailboxes 1,80,000

Estimated Blackberry 10,000

Estimated Exchange servers 250

Geographical scope: World Wide

 

OPERATIONAL CONTEXT

Deliver world class service

Migrate all the mail servers to exchange 2010

Optimize the number of servers

Hosting centers to be reduced to 3

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Manage software & hardware refresh

Incident diagnosis / reports

Create, restore, move, upgrade User/Mailboxes

Service Level monitoring & reporting

Check backups, CPU/Memory, disk use and re-act

Perform Exchange Server database health

Perform hot-fixes, service packs, update rollups, and security updates

Check virus definitions actuality and scan for viruses and check actuality and re-act

Resolve Error of provisioning

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Excellent knowledge on Microsoft Exchange 2010

Hands-on knowledge on Hardware and software clusters on Windows platform

Excellent Knowledge on Windows 2008/Windows 2003 servers (standard, enterprise & datacenter editions)

Troubleshooting/supporting skills on Windows Server OS related problems

Troubleshooting/supporting skills on 2003/2008 Active Directory infrastructure

Troubleshooting/supporting skills on 2007/2010 Microsoft exchange infrastructure along with IIS servers

Troubleshooting/supporting RIM Blackberry infrastructure

Hands-on Knowledge on recovery software's

Hands-on Knowledge on storage management

Knowledge of Windows 2008/Windows 2003 Active Directory, knowledge of Active Directory tools, DHCP, DNS, SMTP and other Windows services
