Hiring : Contractual position - (Minimum 6 months Contract under Platys Group) - and extendable Position : 1. Test Engineer - Very urgent Location: Bangalore Duration: (Minimum 6 months and extendable) . Skills/ Technologies required: * Prior experience in Element, Network and Service Management Systems (EMS, NMS). * Awareness of ITIL, preferably past work experience. * Experience with BMC Remedy and InfoVista applications is desirable. * Prior work experience in "project implementation" -- implementing a OSS/BSS or NOC system at Customer site. * Programming awareness and prior experience in any scription language like Perl or Shell. * Solaris, Linux and Windows command familiarity and basic Administration skills. * Experience in deploying and testing HA and Load Balancing technologies and solutions (Disk Array, SAN, Veritas). * Knowledge of Cisco devices and basic Networking technologies (CCNA equivalent). Awareness in different Networking technologies and interest to further skills. Role & Responsibilities: * Installation and validation of OS, application software, Software tools, products, packages and ability to configure for optimisation. * Test skills -- planning, scenario identification, execution and issue reporting and tracking to closure. * Problem identification, troubleshooting and diagnosis. * Drives the creation/adoption of standards and best practices. Open to travel extensively.
