Will be responsible to connect both HP and SUN consoles to servers in production and development environments when required.
3. Ability to lead and manage procedures in a tightly run Change Control system and communicate to peers and upper management. This position has high visibility and requires a professional demeanor.
4. The team supports 24x7 productions and working shifts and a weekend day is required.
5. Ability to lead and manage team of Unix Administrators. (7 to 10)

Relevant Requirement Details:
1. Has 6-7 years of Core Unix experience. (In different UNIX flavors. Preferably in Hp unix, Solaris. Added advantage if has storage and Linux experience)
Has solid understanding of different aspects of UNIX systems administration; for example, understands concepts and configuration of clustering, mail systems, system installation and configuration, printing systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software. Understands job control, soft and hard links, distinctions between the kernel and the shell. (Anything in Sun solaris, Linux is a plus point) Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts; can configure NFS, MCSG,Ignite server for HP, strong skills in LVM, can use nslookup or dig to check information in the DNS, understands basic routing concepts. Understands the Linux kernel and tuning. Basic work on Linux and experience in volume management on Linux. (Must have experience in HP UX 11iV1, 11iV2. (exposure to HP UX 11iV3 is an added advantage)
2. Has good understanding of basics of Storage administration and has some hands on experience in storage. Understands SAN, NAS frames and it's use in mainly Unix environment. Has good exposure to Backup technologies.
3. Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (ksh, Tk, Perl, ).
Ability to do minimal debugging and work with Infrastructure teams.
4. Experience in clustering technologies - HP MCSG, VCS (veritas cluster servers)
