Required technical skill:

• Advanced knowledge and experience with EMC AVAMAR, NETWORKER, Data Domain & CommVault Backup software to include Storage, Scheduling and retention policies, Dash copies, Data analytics, Media management and Data type management
• Strong experience in Architecture/Design of Backup Solutions, Policy Configuration, Troubleshooting of Backup Infrastructure
• Provide a daily status into enterprise backup schedules jobs to ensure all systems are appropriately backed-up.
• Provide an accurate up-to-date inventory of all systems and their backup schedules
• Create and maintain documentation on backup and restoration processes, policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Responsible for weekly verification tests of restorations, ensuring efficient restoration capability.
• Administration of backup data replication topology for all monitored locations.
• Provide guidance on best practices for backup rotations, large data volume management, replication topologies, and integration with virtual infrastructures.
• Management of Virtualization backup and restores utilizing enterprise backup software.
• Provide architectural oversight and guidance on all projects involving the integration of physical devices
• Responsible for responding to requests for data and server restores as well as alterations to backup policies and schedules.

• Responsible for backup systems hosted in Cloud Infrastructure like AZURE.
• Design / implement storage and backup solutions to remediate operational issues as part of the incident, problem and change management process
• Working directly with colleagues to maintain and evolve the Disaster Recovery Planning, Testing and Response for the Enterprise
• Leveraging the Backup Infrastructure for Operational efficiency, including data staging, recovery and hardware migration
• Collaborate with other team members on IT/Operations initiatives, including data center, network administration, backup and disaster recovery efforts and strategies
• Maintain audit requirements for backups / restores
• Experience in supporting a 24x7 production environment, Participating in an on-call production technology support rotation
• Experience writing/maintaining appropriate scripts to automate system administration and recurring jobs

Eligibility Criteria:

• Full Time Graduates / Post Graduates in:Bsc/BCA /BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MSc / MCA / MCM / MS.
• Consistent academic records Class X onwards (Minimum 50%) and Compartmental pass outs will not be eligible
• Full time Diploma also considered. Correspondence/Part time courses/Jobs will not be considered.
