Engineer should have Atleast 5 years of Exp in Networking.
Engineer should have good understanding on the web hosting services.
Engineer should have experience in design and implementation of network solutions.
Cisco hardware product line (Routers, Switches, VPN, Firewall (Added Advantage), Load balancers (Added Advantage))
Access Control Lists. IP Subnetting
IOS, and Native IOS
Layer 3 routing and layer 2 switching - 802.1Q Trunking, VLANs, Channeling, HSRP, STP, VTP, QoS, Multicast, DHCP, DNS
Circuit types (MPLS, Frame Relay, DSL, VPN, ISDN, etc.)
Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP (Candidate has to be very strong in BGP), EIGRP, IGRP)
Create bill of materials and obtain vendor cost quotes
Writing configurations (Cisco, HP ProCurve hardware products)
Visio diagrams-creating/updating
Creating implementation documents
Change management.
