Opening for a Project Manager in IT in a leading MNC Company(On Kelly Services Payroll)

Greetings from Kelly services!!!! We have urgent opening in a leading MNC Company for a Project Manager in IT project. Please Note: This role will be based at Nasik and may be needed to support Thane projects. Job Purpose and Responsibilities: This role is responsible for the successful delivery of GMS IT projects within budget, schedule and quality boundaries, and in accordance with appropriate standards and procedures. Specifically, the Project Manager will: Governance & Stakeholders • Establish appropriate GMS IT project governance, management and control processes. • Communications planning, stakeholder identification and engagement, regular status reporting to key stakeholders. • Build effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the delivery of the project and wider environment. Execution • Manage IT project scope, plans, budgets, risks and issues. Ensure the base • Ensure that project scope, plans and budgets are base-lined and that changes to these, outside of agreed tolerances, are managed through change control. • Manage IT project teams to design, build, test and deploy IT solutions. • Ensure that IT solutions delivered by projects have a planned transition into support. • Identify and actively monitor delivery of external dependencies. Customer Focus • Support the business lead to ensure that the solution is 'in place' and 'in use' and ensure business change lead is in place along with change management processes in support this goal • Support the business lead to ensure programme delivers desired business benefits / outcomes • Establish appropriate GMS IT project governance, management and control processes. Quality • Ensure the solution delivered remains compliant with regulatory requirements across sites. • Ensure the adherence to GSK IT standards in terms of security and confidentiality • Ensure that required training in GSK procedures is completed and training records maintained • Ensure that the knowledge base (information and people) is developed and maintained, ensuring effective transition of knowledge into the support organisation. • Conduct "After Action Reviews" and use the output of these exercises to improve project delivery at site. People • Work closely with Site Implementation Managers and project managers to ensure adequate resources are deployed at the Site(s) to ensure delivery • Lead project team - motivate all team members, communicate clear direction. • To recruit, manage and coach project team members as required. Candidate Skills: Complexity: The degree of change in the operating environment is substantial. This role will be expected to deliver project goals within this context. Management and team leadership skills will be necessary to ensure project milestones are maintained and issues addressed in a timely way. Influencing takes place at a site leadership level, and with senior project stakeholders. This is a complex operating environment; projects may involve working with multiple sites with Central IT shared services. It is important that relationships are built and managed across this network. Role Characteristics: • Requires matrix management of operational project teams (typically up to 10 people). • Requires management of operational budgets, typically up to £500K • Requires working knowledge of GMP / compliance Competencies: Qualification: Degree or equivalent level of education (People from IT background preferred) Experience: Minimum 5 years Compensation: Best in the industry Joining: ASAP Location: Thane Please note: The contract is for 6 months.
