 Minimum 2 yrs of experience in Performance tuning is mandatory.
 Look for candidates who can join in 15 days time.
 Oracle DBA with experience in 10g and 11gR2
 Installation of database software (client and server).
 Creation of new database environments
 Database upgrades (10g to 11gR2)
 Database refreshes using RMAN, cold backup / Hot backup and export/import
 Support stress testing, including stress reporting, performance tuning, SQL reviews
 Technical knowledge and experience with database environments, tools, utilities, configurations, monitoring, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, high availability solutions, job scheduling
 Experience with database replication
 Expertise with Oracle RMAN backup toolset
 Strong knowledge of the Unix AIX 6.1 and Windows 2003 operating systems
 UNIX shell and Perl scripting as relevant to DBA functions and activities.
 Experience in OEM Grid and BMC Patrol for monitoring database performance
 Good verbal communication skills
 Should be flexible to work in 24/7 environment in shifts
