We have Urgent Opening Linux Admin for Pune Location
Job Details: Linux Admin
• 3 + year of practical hands on experience deploying and maintaining Red Hat Linux or a derivative, Centos, Fedora or Oracle Linux (OLE).
• Experience in deployment of hardware from a tier one supplier like IBM, HP or Dell utilizing kickstart and cfengine.
• Ability to manage software packages and patching
• Scripting experience utilizing shell and at least one of the following scripting languages: Perl or Python.
• Experience connecting to MySQL and oracle databases a plus.
• Basic networking skills and understanding of network layers and utilization of common networking tools used in a Linux environment
• VMWare ESX, XEN Platinum or KVM virtual machine experience
• Experience setting up fiber switches and FC storage, NetApp filer a plus
• Experience in maintaining DNS at the enterprise level
• Good communication skills
Preferences
• Knowledgeable about Linux Security
• Able to work in a unsupervised environment
