We are having an urgent opening for System Administrator with one of our repute Client. JD: o Administration, maintenance and monitoring SUN Solaris 10 with Sun Cluster 3.2 o Managing SUN Web Servers, SUN Firewall, SUN network configurations, managing SUN virtual servers, integration of applications with Solaris cluster. o File System administration and management like monitoring various logs, file system sizes etc. o Troubleshooting OS problems and crashes, disk space problems, file system errors and cluster component errors on Solaris o Managing SUN StorageTek tape library configuration and administration. o Troubleshooting SUN SPARC server hardware problems o Squid proxy server maintenance on Linux system for local users & managing internet settings. o Configure ipchains firewall & managed port services by IP masquedering. o Checking log files & truncating the files as needed. o Apache-Tomcat server maintenance & fine-tuning of the server. o Monitoring Virtual memory, adding additional swap space as needed. o Troubleshoot Linux file system crash, disk space problems, and network problems. o Configure automated jobs by using Cron & writing shell scripts & troubles hooting. o knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Cisco routers, L3 switches, LAN & WAN. o Experience on network design, monitoring and troubleshooting o Must have familiarity with routing protocols (EIGRP/OSPF), VLAN, ACLs, QoS, SNMP, NetFlow, HSRP, STP. o Experience on WAN technologies like MPLS, point-to-point DS3/E1 circuits, ISDN PRI & BRI circuits. o Experience on multi-location WAN setup and responsible for network implementation, monitoring network resource utilization and troubleshooting complex network problems. o Hands-on experience on Cisco firewalls (ASA) in configuring security policies such as ACLs, NAT, Access Controls, IPSec & SSL VPN. o Hands-on experience on any of the UTM devices such as Fortigate, Sonicwall, Check Point etc. in managing gateway anti-virus, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, URL & content filtering. o Experience on SNMP/NetFlow based NMS. o Experience on open source networking & security solutions & tools such as IP tables, Squid proxy server, Snort IDS, Splunk syslog, TFTP, Nagios, Cacti Graphs etc. 10-20% hike on your current ctc If you are interested in above mentioned profile, kindly send your resume.
