Position Name: Back-up administrator for Level 3 Support
Location Mumbai - Vikhroli
Work hours 22:00 - 06:00 US CT (08:30 - 17:30 IST) for 40 hours a week including weekend
Work profile Level 3 Back-up Administrator
Qualification 1. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred) or equivalent work experience (6 years +)
Key Skills 1. 6+ years experience in support of large enterprise back-up environments
2. 3-5 years of working with EMC Net worker, Symantec Netback up/ Backup Exec or IBM TSM
3. Experience of EMC Avamar, CA Arc serve is a plus
4. 2+ years performing capacity planning, performance analysis, and development of data disaster recovery plans
Experience 1. Strong fundamentals of Back-up and Restore
2. Handle Tier 2 & Tier 3 support across multiple locations and troubleshoot complex HW/SW issues to resolution in a large enterprise back-up environment
3. Should have hands on experience resolving issues of complex nature
4. Experience of managing escalation along with product vendor till resolution
5. Ability to work independently, dig deeper into the issues and find resolution by checking support, product websites, knowledge base, issue simulation etc.
