Job Profile:-
• Candidate must have a keen interest in learning several different technology sets. Technical information in the following skill sets/platforms is required: IBM Tivoli Directory Server, IBM MQ Series Server, and IBM MQ Series Client
• ITDS solution architecture consulting.
• Securing ITDS via SSL.
• Installation, configuration, readiness verification and on-going support of the ITDS.
• Maintain the availability of the ITDS environment including:
 Daily administration and maintenance.
 User creation.
 Error detection, notification, problem isolation and correction.
 Act as an agent for the customer in dealing with vendor support calls.
 ITDS shut down and start-up.
• ITDS monitoring
• Assistance with software upgrades including
 Notification of availability of ITDS Pack and patch
 Installation of ITDS and patch
• Upgrading ITDS to the next major release
• Working Level knowledge of DNS/DDNS, Active Directory, WINS and DHCP.
• Awareness of Terminal Service (remote console) and other remote management tools.
• Awareness on TCIP/IP ports and their mappings along with the functions.
• Working level knowledge of backup and restoration of Metabase and other web hosting products.
• Candidate must be solutions oriented and demonstrate effective problem solving skills.
• Strong collaboration skills are required. Candidate must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Candidate demonstrates a high level of initiative and is a self-starter who can flow to the work and escalates to the next higher level wherever necessary.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and process is an advantage
• Position requires participation in shift rotations covering Asia business hours. Weekend coverage may also be required.
• Must have strong analysis, customer handling and documentation skills
• Must be an independent worker
• Microsoft Certifications like MCA, MCSE+Internet are preferred. Microsoft Certification can be compromised provided candidate is having good technical knowledge.
Qualifications / specifications:
Must be a graduate in science or Engineering in Electronics, computer science with minimum experience of 5 - 6 years plus. Good knowledge of UNIX / Windows is preferred.
