Position: Sr System Engineer
Location: Pune
Candidate should have relevant DBA experience of minimum 6 years; the Candidate would be working in the Support Team & should have
o Handled large size production databases.
o Proficient in installations on UNIX platforms
o Strong database administration skills
o Database Capacity planning
o Strong PL/SQL knowledge: Ability to write procedures, packages, triggers,
Functions etc.
o Backup and recovery: Ability to implement and test backup/recovery
Strategies for production database. (RMAN is preferred)
o Performance Tuning: Ability to tune various database parameters and
Optimize SQL queries.
o Database replication
o Ability to work in 24X7 environments.
o Data modeling (Forward/Reverse engineering )
o Knowledge of RAC and Data Guard would be good
o Ability to write shell scripts.
o Should have OS tuning experience for-Windows 2003,Linux
Redhat/SUSE, HP-UX and Solaris
o Ability to work in Onsite/Offsite model
The Candidate will be responsible for database related activities such as stored
Procedures, tuning, writing, Perl Scripts etc.
