Job Description:
• Technical skills in the following areas:
o Experience with video conference room systems and infrastructure such as gatekeepers, multipoint bridging units, and call managers
o Broad knowledge of network architecture and the role that the different network components play in delivery of communication services is critical
o Knowledge of Cisco IOS sufficient to verify that configurations meet defined standards.
o Knowledge of H.323, H.264 and related video conferencing protocols
o Understanding of networking troubleshooting methods and tools
o Ability to automate tasks through scripting.
• Solid communication skills verbal & written and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to understand and work with a culturally diverse team across various geographies.
• Detailed-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and interact with key executives and customers.
• Customer service skills and client focus.
• Experience in creating and distributing written communications in an operations environment.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills as well as research skills.
• Experience developing technical documentation, technical communications, and project work plans.
• Ability to closely adhere to operational processes and technical standard defined by engineering team or the storage and backup team leadership itself.
• Ability to complete assigned, recurring tasks with limited supervision.
Nice to have Skills
• CCNA Certification or other Cisco certifications
• Tandberg or Polycom system certification
• Experience with Cisco Telepresence system models CTS-3000/CTS1300/CTS500
• Experience administering Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM)
• Experience with Tandberg MXP, EX or C series video conference systems
• Familiarity with network infrastructure.
• Knowledge and understanding of application development process
• Familiarity with ITIL framework.
• Scripting experience.
