Experience Required(Description) : CCNA (essential); CCNP (desirable) ? Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (preferred) 4 or 4+ yrs of exp is required xtensive experience with a wide range of Enterprise class Cisco products including switches, wireless and routers. Extensive experience with 6500 series products and 3750 switches. ? Expe rience in large, mission critical network environments ? Proven ability to research new concepts, ideas and technologies ? Excellent, demonstrable troubleshooting skills. Able to complete root cause analysis and resolution. ? Good understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols, ie spanning tree, trunks, etherchannel, VLAN?s, EIGRP and some knowledge of BGP ? Strong understanding and practical experience in network security principles, including device hardening; Firewall and IPS policy and procedures. ? Experience with Checkpoint products ? Firewall (essential), IPS (desirable), Secure Platform (desirable) ? Riverbed knowledge (preferred); understanding of WAN optimisation concepts ? Juniper firewall management an d configuration (desirable) ? Experience with F5 BigIP (desirable) or similar HA/LB technologies
